Grace Students at Climate March

Grace Church School students joined hundreds of thousands of kids in over 2,000 cities for the global student climate strike last month.
The strike was initiated by Swedish youth activist Greta Thunberg and focused on mobilizing adults to urgently protect our planet's resources. This month, students in both the middle and high school, are focusing their Earth Month messaging around eliminating the use of unnecessary single-use plastics. Just in time! This past March, and starting in March 2020, New York state will ban the use of most single-use plastic bags, joining California and Hawaii. Our students will help us all get ready for a cleaner and healthier New York.
