Welcome and thank you for your interest in Grace Church School! Applications for admissions to enter Grace in the fall of 2022 are now open. Please submit your application here.
Please RSVP here for one of our fall in-person or virtual Open Houses. Open Houses provide students, parents, and guardians the opportunity to hear from Grace faculty, administrators, and students about the High School Division curriculum, extra-curriculars, athletics, and student life.
Applications will close at noon on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
We will offer families a choice of in-person interviews and tours, virtual interviews, group tours and live virtual tours. Families should choose to interview in person or via Zoom based on what is best for your family and your student’s schedule and family work/home obligations.
Whether a family decides to interview in person or via Zoom will have zero impact on the applicant’s ultimate admissions decision. There is an allocated number of both in-person and Zoom interviews between September 28, 2021, and January 7, 2022.
Families who choose to visit Grace in person will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to their visit and must show proof of vaccination upon entering the building. All visitors will be required to wear masks during their visit.
Please email Admissions Associate Georgia Warner-Haakmat with admissions inquiries or please submit this form to add your name to our mailing list for our fall admissions events.
You may submit an application via our online portal. After 48 hours your application will be processed and you will be able to access all supplementary forms required to complete the application.
The $100 application fee is waived for prospective students applying for financial aid.
Our office will contact you to schedule your family's in-person or virtual visit to the high school campus after the online application has been processed (limited after the December 1, 2021 deadline).
After we have processed the online application, our office will be in touch with you to schedule your family’s visit. Families have the option of getting to know Grace virtually or in-person. For families who choose to interview and tour the school in-person, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to be uploaded to our site here the Friday prior to your visit to campus. Families can choose to interview virtually via Zoom and experience our campus via our 360° tour, through monthly virtual student-led live tours via Zoom, or at our in-person group tours during the admissions season. Whether a family decides to interview in person or via Zoom will have zero impact on the applicant’s ultimate admissions decision. Team members from the Admissions Office will work with you to determine the best option for your family.
Additionally, we offer a series of in-person and virtual Open Houses where families will have the opportunity to meet administrators, faculty, and students to learn about the program. Please RSVP here. Note that our November 17th virtual Open House is designed for prospective families of color.
Submit two ISAAGNY teacher recommendations from the applicant's current math and English teachers through your online application portal. Schools should not send recommendations until November, at the earliest, to give faculty time to know your child.
Applicants must send us a copy of a graded essay with the teacher's comments visible. The essay should not be a creative writing paper; it may be selected by the student from a current English or history class. This essay should be uploaded via the online application portal.
Applicants must submit a 500-750 word essay from a choice of prompts available on your online application portal. In an effort to streamline the high school application process for student applicants, Grace Church School participates in the ISAAGNY common essay.
If you have any questions about the application process, please email Admissions Associate, Georgia Warner-Haakmat.
