Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are now closed. For applicants who have already submitted applications, supplementary materials including student essays, standardized testing, teacher recommendations and transcripts should be submitted via the portal no later than January 10, 2020. Submit two ISAAGNY teacher recommendations from the applicant's current math and English teachers through your online application portal. Schools should not send recommendations until November, at the earliest, to give faculty time to know your child.
Applicants are required to take either the ISEE or SSATtest. Each test consists of an essay and multiple-choice questions. Students are evaluated on their quantitative, math, reading and verbal skills.
Applicants must send us a copy of a graded essay with the teacher's comments visible. The essay should not be a creative writing paper; it may be selected by the student from a current English or history class. This essay should be uploaded via the online application portal.
Applicants must submit a 500-750 word essay from a choice of prompts available on your online application portal. In an effort to streamline the high school application process for student applicants, Grace Church School participates in the ISAAGNY common essay.
If you have any questions about the application process, please email Admissions Associate, Shahara Ahmed.
