Life outside of the classroom is rich in Middle School. There are endless opportunities to develop new interests and hone skill and talent. Extra-curriculars include competitive athletic teams, the literary magazine The Scribbler, online newspaper The Eye, yearbook, musical and dramatic productions, and advisory. Science and computer fairs present refined samples of student work. Major class trips highlight each year--a weeklong trip to an outdoor environmental center for Grade 6, and overnight trips outside of New York City in Grades 5, 7 and 8. In addition, students in Grades 7 and 8 are eligible to participate in the Grace International Exchange Program. All Middle School students participate in service learning.
