Rewind to the 80s: The 40th Auction Benefit for Financial Aid

On March 12, the Grace community gathered for Rewind to the 80s, the school’s 40th Annual Auction Benefit for Financial Aid,

n evening of nostalgia, fun, and love for Grace. Together, the community raised over $1.1 million for financial aid, ensuring that every Grace student can experience all that this school has to offer.

The Auction Benefit is Grace’s sole fundraising event, and its success is a testament to the generosity and creativity of the entire community. Nearly every auction item is donated or solicited by parents, who lead committees, transform the school through elaborate decoration, and give countless hours of their time both before and on the night of the event. This year was no exception, and true to form, the Grace community brought the full breadth of its talents and spirit to the occasion (including a Head of School with a flair for juggling machetes).

A heartfelt thank you to event co-chairs Aubrey Shipway and Trisha DeBevoise, whose vision and leadership made the evening possible. And a very special thank you to the Advancement team: Lele Levay, Leah Rosenbaum, Renata Henry, Marilynn Honeycutt, Katie Zack, and Robert Brown. Their tireless work behind the scenes is the engine that makes this event run year after year.
