National Scholastic Awards Recipients
Sophie Frances '16 earned a National Medal from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her work 'Compress'. Her work will be featured at the Met in the Ursis Center for Education through May 30th and she will be honored in a ceremony that takes place at Carnegie Hall on June 2nd. Sophie was also asked to represent the Scholastic Award winners at the United Nations.
Luke Abramowitz ‘21, won a Silver Medal at the National level after receiving a gold medal at the regional level, for a visual art work he submitted. His work was adjudicated as in the top 1% of 320,000 submissions this year.
Additionally, several Grace students received Scholastic Award recognition for their work.
