The Parents' Association

The Parents’ Association sponsors and organizes events that make Grace Church School a warm and inviting community for both parents and students. The Parents' Association is active through monthly meetings, hosting large annual events, planning Photo Day, running the store for Grace Gear, and much more.

All parents are automatically members of the Parents’ Association, and in that spirit, have many opportunities to work together to enrich our community. Parent volunteers provide the framework upon which families work together, share experiences and provide support to one another.

The Parents' Association also coordinates a speaker series, bringing in experts in an array of topics pertinent to current parents. Recent topics have included: bullying, protecting children from crime, mindful parenting, and safe-use of the Internet.

Grace Media Aware Parents (GMAP) is a parent/faculty initiative dedicated to helping parents navigate the pitfalls, perils and opportunities of the Internet, films, video games and all electronic media. Meetings throughout the school year address timely media topics and include guest speakers and workshops.
