New Equity Event for Parent Leaders
Ms. Chaloner, Dean of Community Life and Mr. Andre, Dean of Equity & Inclusion were on the organizing team for a new Parent Equity Conference that held its inaugural meeting last Saturday, February 8.
The conference, which hopes to hold annual gatherings, will bring together parent leaders from independent schools around the city came to discuss how they can build relationships and increase participation in equity work at our schools. Ms. Chaloner spoke as part of the opening panel, and she and Mr. Andre both ran workshops. Grace PA President Kyung Choi and Grace parent Merritt Tilney were in attendance.
