HS Students help clean up the Shoreline

Ms. Dilley's Sustainability and Service course, "The Age of Plastic," hit the beaches on Wednesday to both clean up and see the impact of single use plastics on our shores.
During this semester they will be investigating how plastic and plastic pollution impact our lives. Our middle school and high school Green Teams are also addressing single use plastics through a partnership with other city schools. On Oct. 25th, they will be attending a screening of the film "The Last Straw" at the Town School.  Students and parents are invited to attend as well.  See this link, or contact Kim Chaloner, for more information:  http://www.studentvoicesnyc.org/kickoff-event.html
