GCS: Internet Safety Discussion
 
    Seventh and Eighth Grade parents met with George Davison, Carol Collet and Akbar Ali Herndon on the evening of Thursday, November 16, 2006 to discuss Internet safety for students and best practices for home and school. The evening focused on social networks e.g., MySpace, Facebook and Gaia online. Benefits and dangers were explored in discussion and through a projected presentation. An emphasis was placed on home practices that include parental involvement. The evening was recorded for Netcast and can be heard by clicking play on each of the three files below. Each segment is approximately 30 minutes long.
