In 1999-2000, as a Grade 3 student at Grace Church School, New York, he finished in First Place in the 3rd-4th grade age-group of the ABACUS competition.
In 2000-2001, as a Grade 4 student he finished in Third Place in the 3rd-4th grade age-group.
