pears and the 4 kg grapes all cost the same. How much does 1 kg of each
of the fruit cost?
A.546. Aunt Any is selling onions at the
green market. She has a 2-armed balance and a 1-kg, two 3-kg and a 5-kg
weight. Can she measure any whole number of kg of loads up to 12 kg?
A.547. At the flower shop a bucket with
8 gladioluses and 6 lilies costs $7.60. A bucket with 6 lilies and 3 gladioluses
costs $5.10. How much does Eric have to pay for a bucket with 5 gladioluses
and 5 lilies?
A.548. Grandma Mary is selling apples on
the market. She put the same number of apples in each of the 6 cases. She
sold 18 apples from each of the cases, and now she has just as many apples
left as she had in 4 of the original cases. How many apples did she put
originally in each of the cases?
A.549. Aunt Rose is selling sour cream.
She has 8 liters left in a full container, and somebody wants to buy 4 liters.
Aunt Rose does not have a measuring cylinder, only another 5-liter and a
3-liter container. How can she sell 4 liters of sour cream now?

He has a 2-arm balance and a 1-kg, a 3-kg, a 6-kg and a 10-kg weight. Which
whole numbers of kilograms of potatoes can he measure?
