Middle School Robotics Shine
Two Middle School Robotics teams from Grace competed in the FIRST City Championship at the Javits Center on Saturday, March 12th.
After competing in the Manhattan qualifiers in January, both teams advanced to the finals. The 5/6 team, aka the "Wednesday Gremlins," and the 7/8 team, aka the "Tuesday Gremlins," both finished in the top 25% of all NYC middle school robotics teams.
The 5/6 team also received the "Best Teamwork" award (trophy pictured). This is the second year that Grace students have advanced to the finals of this competition.
