The Arts program provides a comprehensive art education program in visual art, dance, music and drama. The curriculum teaches art for art's sake, valuing all that artistic expression has to offer the growing child. It focuses on individual thought and the development of creativity while teaching the necessary skills to produce art that is both meaningful and aesthetically pleasing. Using New York City as a cultural resource, classes regularly visit museums, galleries, and architectural sites, and attend performances of theater, music and dance.
